24th jan - Writers march - xena day, outside nbc studios
We flew into LA a day early so we could attend the WGA march outside NBC Studios. I have to say, the weather was RUBBISH! It felt more like we were at home in London rather than sunny Southern California! Despite the rain and hail, the turnout from Xena fans was excellent. Quite a few Xena actors and writers were also present, which was great to see. They included Tim Omundson, Adrienne Wilkinson (and dog), Renee O'connor, Vicky Pratt, Bob Trebor, Steve Sears, Katherine Fugate, TJ Scott, Rob Tapert and Liz Freidman. Apologies if I've left anyone off the list! The security guards outside the studios stopped us sheltering under the front of the building so everyone got very wet. Soggy placards were dropping like flies but the people marched on! I had to stop several times as I had double knee surgery 6 weeks ago and they were aching like hell. Mary, Nora and Sandy battled on like the troopers they are!
Saturday 26th jan - lucy & renee day
A very kind friend - who happened to be sitting in row A - offered to take pix of the girls for me as my seat was in row ZZZ! The results are a lot better than anything I could have taken, so cheers Fuzz...you're a star! I'm afraid there are no Adrienne or Tsianina pictures here as I couldn't get ANY decent shots of them. Sorry!
